Frequently Asked Questions
What structure does the JSON output follow?
Each HTML element becomes an object with a tag field for the lowercase tag name, an attributes object for its attributes, and a children array for nested elements and text nodes. Text content is wrapped as {text: ...}.
Does the converter preserve HTML attributes?
Yes. Every attribute on an element is captured as a key-value pair inside the attributes object, including id, class, href, data-* attributes, and any custom attributes.
Can I convert nested HTML elements?
Yes. The converter walks the full DOM tree recursively, so arbitrarily nested elements are fully represented in the children arrays of their parents.
Is my HTML data sent to a server?
No. Parsing and conversion happen entirely in your browser using the built-in DOMParser. Your HTML never leaves your device.
